Solar projects in Oltenia advance: large-scale deliveries of solar panels

OMV Petrom, the largest integrated energy producer in South-Eastern Europe, together with Complexul Energetic Oltenia (CE Oltenia), announce the arrival in Romania of the first batch of photovoltaic panels - part of a total of approximately 800,000 panels - for the four solar parks with a total capacity of approximately 550 MW, currently under construction in the localities of Ișalnița, Tismana and Rovinari. This marks another major step in implementing one of the most extensive renewable energy programs in Romania.

OMV Petrom and the Oltenia Energy Complex will build four photovoltaic parks with a total capacity of approximately 450 MW. The financing contracts for the development of these parks, with a combined capacity of 450 MW, have been signed by the Ministry of Energy as the contracting authority and representatives of the four legal entities responsible for implementing the projects. Within these entities, OMV Petrom and CE Oltenia are equal partners, each holding a 50% stake.
